World Vets (Fargo, North Dakota 58102) is a non-government organization (NGO) that provides veterinary aid around the globe in collaboration with animal advocacy groups, foreign governments, U.S. and foreign military groups, and veterinary professionals abroad.

The organization’s work spans 34 countries and 6 continents and addresses not only veterinary issues, but also human health issues impacted by zoonotic diseases in developing countries.

Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue was started in December of 2008 by a group of Great Dane lovers who desire to help Great Danes in need. The rescue is made up of all volunteers who lovingly give of their time, efforts, and money to help Great Danes.

Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue serves the animal community by providing foster homes, medical treatment, and behavioral assessments to Great Danes in need of forever homes.

The rescue covers Minnesota, Wisconsin, Iowa, North Dakota, and South Dakota.

The mission of Small Paws® Rescue Inc., a charitable, Federal not-for-profit organization, is to rescue and supply non-aggressive Bichons, nationwide, with love, shelter, food, human companionship, and medical care, until permanent placement is secured into a pre-screened loving home, as the rescue’s resources allow.

Small Paws takes responsibility for each Bichon rescued and placed. should they ever need to return to Small Paws during their lifetime.

Small Paws Rescue Inc. is composed of approximately 6000 people in 26 countries, and over eight hundred volunteers across America. The volunteers are willing to foster, transport, or otherwise assist in this massive rescue effort. Small Paws is supported entirely by donations and fund raisers.

Wheatens In Need is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to rescuing abandoned, abused, unwanted, or otherwise homeless Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers. Each dog is carefully evaluated for temperament and personality for a minimum of two weeks, before being placed into a carefully screened home.

A large network of volunteer Wheaten Terrier lovers provides foster homes and transportation throughout the U.S. and Canada. Wheatens In Need has rehomed more than 500 Wheatens since 1998.

Central Dakota Humane Society (Mandan, North Dakota 58554) has had a shelter located three miles north of Mandan since 1994, but many people are surprised to discover that the organization has actually been doing good deeds in the community for over 43 years. Its main goals fall in line with its mission statement.

CDHS’ first mission is to provide for, house, rehabilitate, and relocate lost, stray, or homeless animals. Another important mission is to promote the spaying and neutering of pets, in order to reduce the number of unwanted litters of puppies and kittens. CDHS is proud to say that since January 1998, it has distributed over $57,000 to area residents in the form of spay/neuter assistance certificates

United Yorkie Rescue is a national Yorkshire Terrier and Yorkie mix rescue organization. The rescue is 501(c)(3) approved, and listed on GuideStar.

United Yorkie Rescue has pledged to rescue all Yorkies and Yorkie mixes in need, regardless of size, age, or health condition. In addition, the rescue is devoted to providing love, nourishment, rehabilitation, socialization, and “pawesome” forever homes.
