Every Creature Counts (Byers, Colorado 80103) works to find each dog and cat a loving, permanent home, where he or she can be part of a loving household.
Over two thousand homeless animals saw their luck change in 2009 through the adoption program at Every Creature Counts. This is a very significant number, when you consider what it really means…
- 2,603 animals that were homeless, now have homes to call their own
- 2,603 animals were not euthanized this year
- 2,603 animals are not in shelters
- And finally…an additional 2,603 animals had a chance to find their forever homes.

Every Creature Counts also spayed and neutered 8,071 dogs and cats in 2009 at its low-cost spay/neuter clinic. The shelter thanks everyone who became responsible pet owners!
In 2009, Every Creature Counts hit a major milestone of 50,000 animals spayed/neutered since they started their clinic. At the end of 2009, the number is now 55,092.
