Much Love Animal Rescue (Los Angeles, California 90034) is a 100% non-profit, no-kill organization dedicated to reducing overpopulation, abuse, and neglect of domestic animals.
Much Love Animal Rescue is run entirely by like-minded professionals who volunteer their time and resources to help save the lives of these animals. Since 2000, Much Love has successfully placed over 2,000 animals in loving homes.
Much Love is dedicated to the following goals:
- Rescuing stray animals from animal shelters who have not been adopted and are scheduled to be euthanized. Much Love takes the animals who have been in the shelters the longest and will die unless rescued.
- Securing a no-kill facility where rescued pets can be safely sheltered without the threat of euthanization until Much Love finds adoptive parents for them.
- Providing medical care to neglected, abused, and injured animals.
- Rehabilitating hard-to-adopt animals and finding them loving homes.
- Providing spay and neuter services in order to drastically reduce the number of unwanted animals on the street. (It’s the LAW in Los Angeles to spay and neuter your pets.)
- Educating children and adults alike on responsible pet guardianship.
Much Love also maintains The Tucker Fund for Old Dogs, a fund specifically for the rescue and care of dogs 7 years and older.
