OC Animal Care (Orange, California 92868) promotes responsible pet ownership, the health and safety of people and animals, and spay/neuter programs. It also provides temporary shelter and medical care for lost or stray animals and opportunities for adoption of stray or unclaimed animals.
OC Animal Care is a division of OC Community Services. Animal Care Services provides pet licensing and patrol services to 19 contract cities and all the unincorporated areas of the County. The Animal Care Services Care Center houses and provides medical care for impounded dogs, cats and exotic animals. Adoption services are also available.
OC Animal Care provides licensing services for the following cities: Anaheim, Brea, Cypress, Fountain Valley, Fullerton, Garden Grove, Huntington Beach, Laguna Hills, Lake Forest, La Palma, Orange, Placentia, Rancho Santa Margarita, San Juan Capistrano, Stanton, Tustin, Villa Park, Yorba Linda, and all unincorporated areas of Orange County.
