Since 1952, Haven Humane Society (Redding, California 96099) has been caring for lost, homeless and abused animals in the Redding area. Haven’s founders recognized that city and county resources could not support their mission of providing shelter and humane care for all animals who come through their doors. Instead, these concerned citizens created a charitable non-profit organization that is privately funded by people who believe all of our four-legged friends deserve love and respect.
Over the years, Haven Humane Society’s services have expanded to include a spay/neuter clinic as well as community outreach and education to help make animal abuse and neglect a thing of the past. They are very proud to have earned a reputation for providing the gold standard in quality animal care throughout Shasta County and beyond. But the biggest reward comes from carrying out their founders’ purpose; giving animals a safe haven and helping them transition to happy lives in loving homes.
