Horses’ Haven (Howell, Michigan 48844) began in 1995 as a non-profit humane care and adoption agency whose mission is to take in and provide humane care for aged, abused, unwanted, rescued, and neglected horses, or horses whose owners can no longer keep or care for them.
The goals of Horses’ Haven are to rehabilitate, retrain, and provide shelter for these animals until suitable homes can be found, or to permanently care for animals for which homes are unavailable. Horses’ Haven is not limited to taking in horses; if certain conditions exist, it will accept any large animal.
